A creation of yesteryears that till day is an unwavering symbol of valour, patriotism and roaring history; Raigad is much more than just a fortress. Located in Raigad district, this marvellous ancient relic has seen a major and significant chunk of this state’s history made. Narrating the stories of a legendary past , Raigad was known as one of the strongest fort under Chhatarpati Shivaji Maharaj.

पुरातन काळाची निर्मिती जी आजपर्यंत शौर्याचे, देशभक्तीचे आणि गर्जना करणाऱ्या इतिहासाचे अटूट प्रतिक आहे;  रायगड हा  किल्ल्याहूनही अधिक काही आहे.  रायगड जिल्ह्य़ात असलेल्या या अद्भूत प्राचीन अवशेषाने या राज्याच्या इतिहासातील एक मोठा आणि महत्त्वाचा भाग पाहिला आहे. इतिहासाच्या कथा सांगताना, रायगड हा छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या काळात सर्वात मजबूत किल्ला म्हणून ओळखला जात असे.
