Milne Bay Province takes in the land at the extreme eastern end of Papua New Guinea together with seven groups of islands; the Trobriand, Woodlark, Laughlan, Louisiade Archipelago, the Conflict Group, the Samarai Group and the D'Entrecasteaux Group.  
 
Milne Bay's town of Alotau is surrounded by rugged mountains.  While the nearby islands are fringed with beaches, crystal clear lagoons, bays and coral reefs.  So many wonderful adventures include: diving, caving, World War Two relics and scenic and cultural tours.
