The Italian wild card Jannik Sinner did not stop playing when the racket slipped out of his hand during a rally in the quarterfinal against Gilles Simon at the Cologne Championship, he hit the ball with his head instead.  
 
The 19-year old took the opener 6-2, but lost the second set 6-0 and fought back from 0-2 down in the deciding set to earn his place in the semifinal.
