Join us as we take a look back at just some of the highlights of St. Patrick's Festival 2023, where for 4 days and nights, we came together as ONE....☘️ ☘️ ☘️

On the 17 March, we welcomed half a million people on to the streets of Dublin for our biggest ever St Patrick’s Day Parade. Featuring over 4,000 participants from all over the world, Dublin city was the epicentre of celebrations of all things Irish – a true representation of the ever expanding spectrum of Irish identity and culture. For the first time, we witnessed giant snakes and dragons popping up around Dublin as part of our Suntas! programme, inviting visitors to look up and look on the buildings and streets of Dublin with fresh perspective.

We came together to celebrate the very best in Irish music, street theatre, conversation, poetry, street theatre, circus, food and drink and so much more in St. Patrick’s Festival Quarter at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks.

All across Dublin locals and visitors alike participated in events throughout the Festival as part of our One City Programme, including everything from Walking Tours and Workshops, to Exhibitions, to the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and to everything in between. Our taste buds were treated to the finest new Irish food in The Big Grill’s first Me Auld Flower Food and Drink Festival in the old Fruit, Veg and Flower Market in Smithfield.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everybody who helped us to bring this fantastic festival life in 2023....
Thank you to our amazing funders the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and..., Fáilte Ireland and DublinCity Council for their support in creating this Festival.

Thank you to all of our wonderful partners who work hand in hand with the Festival to help to achieve our dreams and ambitions. Thank you to the National Museum of Ireland and to the OPW - Office of Public Works for helping us to create such a wonderful, atmospheric and fun-filled space in Festival Quarter at Collins Barracks for the second year in a row.

Big thanks to all of the artists, bands, pageants teams and performers, participants, crew - to everybody on the stage and off, up front and centre and behind the scenes - the Festival simply wouldn't exist without you.

Huge thanks to our wonderful Board, and the staff of St. Patrick's Festival - without your hard work, creativity, commitment and generosity of spirit, we wouldn't be able to reach the heights that we consistently reach.

And finally, thanks to YOU, our wonderful audience, for coming out in your hundreds of thousands on the streets of Dublin, and in the millions all over the world, sharing so many magical experiences and celebrating everything that Ireland is, was and can be.
